Gerard Hobson

Since childhood, Gerard always had two great loves: wildlife and art. He graduated from Bangor University in 1985 as a zoologist and went on to become a botanist and later wildlife illustrator for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. His striking designs, bold use of colour and telling affection for British wildlife, swiftly established his reputation as a much-loved and highly collectable York artist.
