Andrew Flint Shipman is a self taught artist who was born and brought up in the Theatre. He started his career in the theatre as an apprentice at the Theatre Royal, Windsor, working in all departments before settling into stage management. He then worked on many West End shows until going on to start a theatre production service, leaving the Theatre in 1989 to paint full time. His first show that year at W H Patterson resulted in a painting being bought by Sir Michael Caine and he has not looked back since.
