A Royal College of Art graduate, Alan Stuttle has been painting professionally for the past 40 years. He is inspired predominantly by the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and has travelled widely to seek inspiration and new subject matter for his paintings. Working in watercolours, oils, pastels and acrylics plus the use of pen & ink and charcoal, Alan’s townscapes and cityscapes display his interest in the built environment and his wish to record, in his own unique way, the beauty of the world around him.
